Power and Pride!

Power and pride are two things that people love to have. they like being in control. The issue is how things can be without power or pride. Think about when we were talking about imperialism and how so many global transformations were happening. There were many areas that had no power, never reached out, and really stayed to themselves. These areas were very looked over. By the end, we saw how these countries started to reach out, get more land, take control, and fully get involved in the mix of things. This gave those countries so much more power and … Continue reading Power and Pride!

Comparing the Latin and French Revolution

Balancing Revolution and Evolution I think that it is important to balance out the two because they both benefit each other. Most of the time something starts with evolution and ends with a revolution. What I mean by that is Some come up naturally and then eventually begin to turn around and become something new and it is a big change. Balancing the two can help with the growth of the world, the people, and the different organization of how things work. They help to keep people interested by balancing them out because obviously evolution is more peaceful but they … Continue reading Comparing the Latin and French Revolution

Farmer Drones: Destructive or Constructive?

There are many debates on whether farmer drones are good for farmers to be using. Some people think that they can be dangerous or even be spying devices. Others believe that they can be very helpful and more efficient for farmers’ use. The FFA is now starting to set up many rules and regulations for these farming devices. Do you agree with the usage or do you disagree with the usage of these drones? My own opinion I personally think that the use of farmer drones is a great way to farm. These devices show many benefits such as checking … Continue reading Farmer Drones: Destructive or Constructive?

Hunting relations to “The Most Dangerous Game”

I have once read this story called “The Most Dangerous Game”, written by Richard Connell. The story is mainly about a boy named Sanger Rainsford who must fight for his life while being hunted for sport. After washing ashore on an island, big-game hunter Rainsford realizes that General Zaroff, the island’s owner, hunts humans for sport, having grown bored of hunting animals. This made me wonder how hunting animals may also relate to this story and how I think hunting may affect the environment. My opinion on hunting I am reading an article all about hunting to see how it can … Continue reading Hunting relations to “The Most Dangerous Game”

3 reasons volleyball is a good sport to play!

Universal themes of “The Scarlet Ibis”

In this, I’m going to be talking about some of the themes in the story “The Scarlet Ibis.” This story is about a family that had just received a new baby boy with a birth defect. The older brother was ashamed so he wanted to teach Doodle (the little brother) how to walk and do things so that he didn’t get made fun of. Eventually, Doodle learns to walk and make his family proud but then make brother feel guilty for only doing what was best for him and not Doodle. “Let’s talk about theme” I think one universal theme … Continue reading Universal themes of “The Scarlet Ibis”
